Young Adult Literature & The Digital World

This book explores digital literacies to engage students in responding to young adult literature, including digital literacies to engage students beyond the classroom and with the world in which they live. Practical classroom strategies to implement in classrooms are offered.

I was lucky enough to co-author Chapter 4 of this book, in which I detail a student-centered approach to a John Legend funded grant I received with other teachers in my area.

An Op-Ed in the CT Mirror

I wrote the this Op-Ed for the Connecticut Mirror when the Connecticut Writing Project at Fairfield University partnered with them to produce a series of education-based op-eds we dubbed "The State of Education in Connecticut."

My piece focuses on the importance of arts education and highlights a student produced play festival I helped develop with my students.  You can see the article here.
